Construction Career Days Return

Over one thousand local high school students are expected attend WNY Construction Career Days to learn about career opportunities in building trades. This event returns for the first time since the pandemic to give students hands-on experience sampling various construction jobs. The event runs October 5th and 6th in Lakeview, at the Operating Engineers' training facility. The event is co-sponsored by the unions of the Buffalo Niagara Building Trades Council.

Students will learn about career opportunities in the construction industry, which is experiencing a "dire need of bringing aboard workers" and is "desperately working hard to educate young people to the many good-paying job opportunities that exist." Click here for more details.
